KHULISA PRODUCTIONS

Moonyeenn Lee started MLA thirty years ago as an agent representing the top acting talent in South Africa.

She subsequently trained other agents and moved onto being a manager. Due to her thorough knowledge of local talent she was asked to cast feature films and television.

Moonyeenn Lee formed KHULISA PRODUCTIONS to develop and produce South African stories with South African cast and crew.

PROMISED LAND, was her first feature, as a producer. The film was invited to Toronto, Tokyo, Rotterdam and Fespaco amongst other festivals, and has won various awards including Best Screenplay in Tokyo. The film was very successfully distributed in South Africa and is due to be released in the UK and other countries this year.

Moonyeenn Lee is currently developing other South African projects.
