Brendan Pollecutt Biographical Information

After leaving university Brendan landed the lead role in a television series The Legend of the Hidden City which has been screened in 35 countries around the world. He then went onto act in many local and international TV shows and movies.

In 1997, he and the cast of Mojo won the Vita award for Best Ensemble Acting. In 1998 he was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor award in the M-Net New Directions film Salvation.

Brendan’s most recent television work includes the lead in The RES, Soul City and ISIDINGO and the international series Charlie Jade. His film credits include Consequence, Citizen Verdict and Tramlines.

When not acting, Brendan spends his time writing for TV and film. He has written 21 episodes of the popular sitcom SOS as well as his first feature film “Hey Boy” which he produced.
