Biographical
Information Thandi Puren in 1975. In 1991 she entered the National School of the Arts, to study drama. While at N.S.A, Thandi had the privilege of playing many leading roles, and in 1993 was awarded Best Dramatic Performer. She completed her studies at AFDA in 2001 and earned her Honours in Drama; she was awarded Best Actress for Film and for Stage; and completed her year with the leading roll in IETERMAGO - a 13 episode television drama series. Other television work include 7de Laan, The Res and Zero Tolerance. Acting in international films, Thandi played a leading role, opposite Richard Grieco and Joanna Pacula, in DEAD EASY and a supporting role opposite M. Emmit Walsh, Bruce Greenwood and Wendy Malik in the new Warner Brothers picture RACING STRIPES. |
